During the summers of 2017 and 2018 I had the opportunity to participate in Sport & Recreation Management Practicum courses through the University of Iowa in which we worked with the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Chicago Blackhawks.
During our time with the Chicago Blackhawks our teams were assigned to meet with different departments within the organization. We were asked to research new strategies that the specific department could choose to implement. I was in charge of designing the content for the deliverables and the Powerpoint that we presented to the executives. While we were with the team we volunteered at the team’s Fan Convention and Development Camp where I helped photograph the events.
